Shredder For Textiles

Textile shredding is simplicity itself using the innovative TR model range of shredding mills.

These high performance machines can cut, shred, grind, harrow and tear all types of material or textile, whether you choose a machine in a 550mm or 870mm width. If you don’t have the space for that, we have a more compact shredder for smaller capacities. We also offer various types of rotator shredder.

If you can accommodate a TR model, you can achieve textile shredding outputs of up to 600 kg/hr with the TR55 model and 900Kg/hr with the TR87 model. Your actual output will depend on the size of the final shredded textile that you wish to achieve.

The innovation in this machine, and where it scores over other textile shredding mills, is the variable-speed conveyor feed belt, which carried the textile from a feeder silo (if being incorporated), right through to the final collection point.

Cutting and shredding continues until the final desired shred size is achieved and will pass through whichever of the interchangeable sieves you select. When it passes through, it is blown onwards by a fan system. You can control operations and cutting length via an easy-to-understand panel and maintain and clean the system using aperture access systems.

The machines have many advantages for those involved in recovering and reusing textiles and other materials, including higher production and lower power consumption.
