If you are looking for a high-performance raffia shredding machine, the TR model range probably has the answers you are looking for. Cutting, shredding, grinding, harrowing and tearing all types of materials are child’s play for these machines and they can make light work of shredding raffia.

Sized in widths of either 550mm or 870mm, they may not be what you require for smaller capacity shredding, but we do have models that we would describe as a super compact shredder . We also offer various types of rotator shredder.

Up to 600 kg/hr of shredded raffia can be produced by the TR55 model and up to 900Kg/hr by the TR87 model, the final output being dependent on desired final size of the shredded raffia.

Raffia is transported through the machine by a variable-speed conveyor feed belt – a feature that makes this raffia shredding mill different from others.

It then passes through the cutting and shredding system and will not reach the sieve until the desired size has been achieved. You can control the size of the sieved product by selecting one of a range of interchangeable sieves. You also control other aspects of the process via an easy-to-understand control panel. A feeder silo can be used to feed the conveyor belt, if desired. Once the shredded raffia passes through the sieve, it is blown to the next stage via a fan system, making the collection of the finished, shredded raffia, or other material, very simple.

This ease of use makes the machine a real asset for those involved in recycling, ecology or environmental services. Its new design which it utilises also enables it to work at a higher production capacity and with a lower power consumption, giving considerable savings over traditional shredding mills.

Replacing the cutting blades or cleaning the machine, is easy and fast, thanks to handy shredding mill aperture access systems.
