Plastic shredding is a useful way to achieve recycling targets and having the right machine can make all the difference to your outputs and efficiencies. For this reason, we think our plastic shredding machine is well worth considering.

It’s part of our TR model range, which makes plastic shredding as painless a process as possible. The plastics shredding mill is a high performance machine, designed for the cutting, shredding, grinding, harrowing and tearing of all types of materials, not just plastics. For that reason, it can multi-task and shred a range of materials for you.

The machine comes in a width of either 550mm or 870mm. If you have a tighter footprint, we can offer you something that is a compact shredder, handling smaller capacities. We also offer various types of rotator shredder.

The production outputs achieved by the TR models can reach up to 600 kg/hr for the TR55 model and 900Kg/hr for the TR87 model, with the output dependent on the final size of the shredded plastic.

These outputs are partly down to this plastic shredding mill being different from others, thanks to a new design that enhances production capacity and simultaneously lowers power consumption.

It incorporates a conveyor belt feed, carrying materials into the machine for cutting and shredding, which can take the supply from a feeder silo, if desired. The machine sieves the shredded material, using whichever sieve size the operator selects each time, and then blows sieved material out of the machine, using a fan system.

Waste material volumes can be vastly reduced when using these machines to recover and reuse a variety of material, including plastics. If ecology and the environment matter to you, they can be tremendous allies in your quest to recover and reuse what would otherwise be waste material and plastic.

Even maintenance and cleaning is easy, with aperture access systems that enable the blade to be quickly located and changed and all vital parts of the system quickly cleaned.
