Shredder For Carpets

The TR model range shredding mill is a high performance carpet shredder and machine for cutting, shredding, grinding, harrowing and tearing all types of other material.

Benefiting from a new design thought process, this carpet shredding machine and multi-material shredder delivers the ideal combination of higher production capacity and lower power consumption, giving considerable savings over traditional shredding mills.

The production of these carpet shredding models can reach up to 600 kg/hr in the TR55 model and 900Kg/hr in the TR87 model, depending on the size of the final shredded material output.

These shredding machines are manufactured in either 550mm and 870mm widths, but we have a more compact shredder for those working with smaller capacities and also offer other types of rotator shredder.

Unlike other shredding mills, the process with these carpet and material shredders starts with a conveyor feed belt, operating at variable speeds, on which the materials pass through the cutting and shredding system. The feed belt can be supplied from a feeder silo if the operator wishes. A panel enables the operator to set the desired cutting length.

Once inside the machine, the carpet or other material is processed until it reaches the appropriate size to pass through the installed sieve. This sieve is interchangeable and there is a wide range from which to select, each sieve allowing for a different size of finished product to be produced. On passing through the selected sieve, the shredded carpet or material is then blown along to the next stage of the process, via a fan system.

The TR models are allies of those fighting to reduce waste, by recycling, recovering and reusing carpet and other material, in line with the 4Rs of recycling. They are particularly suitable for recycling companies and those offering ecological and environmental services.

Replacing the cutting blades or cleaning these machines, is an easy and fast process, thanks to in-built shredding mill aperture access systems, thus reducing any downtime in production.
