Stacking Systems

We have a range of stacking systems available and are confident that, whatever your need, we have a stacking system solution to match your requirements.

Our stackers can be individually adapted to suit the width of the fusing machines, as well as the individual production process, whether you want a 2-row or 4-row feed into the line, or something else.

Each stacking system can work independently from the others, enabling every operator to competently manage their own lane. Alternatively, they can work together, if you wish, simply by pushing a button on the touch screen control panel.

The systems use a horizontal tray opening function and garment pieces can be collected from their own parallel path, from entering the machine to exiting it. Collection volumes can be garment pieces of up to 185 mm in height, per tray.

These stacking systems also use optical sensors to automatically recognise the length of fused parts. Using this information, the stacker tray moves out to a position slightly below the transfer belt. The bonded part is then stacked, before the table returns back to its original position. The stacker lanes also automatically adjust to handle parts with different lengths.

When it comes to unloading finished parts, the operator can simply press a button on the touch screen, to make the tray move out from the machine. A yellow line on the display also acts as a piece counter for each line.

The biggest advantage of using a stacking system like this is that it ensures quality. Collecting items individually runs the risk of product pieces not being fully bonded, because they are still warm. Being too swift in collection, too soon after fusing, can lead to unnecessary damage and a reduction in product quality.

Ideal bonding is achieved when the product pieces are left to cool down. This is something that occurs naturally, when using a stacker.

Other advantages are:

  • using a stacking system can reduce the number of operators required to work on each machine.
  • because the height of each tray can be adjusted, along with the number of pieces collected, there is reduced handling of the products. Less movement in the fusing area can enhance product quality and reduce the number of items needing to be rejected.
