If you need to control processing costs within your manufacturing business and don’t require the capacity afforded by a full shredding mill machine, the compact shredder could be an ideal choice. Still powerful, the production capacity can reach up to 200kg per hour, depending on the model, the material being shredded and the particle size required.

This compact shredder mill is a crusher machine, for the shredding, harrowing, grinding and chopping of all kinds of materials. This includes various kinds of plastics, such as polypropylene PP, polyethylene PE, polyester PES, polystyrene PS, EVA, PVC, and PET, but also covers paper and all kinds of documents, foam rubber, latex, viscoelastic, foamised fabric, wadding, padding, textile materials, quilts and padding.

It comes with a useful working width of 300 mm, for chopping and shredding material into particles sized between 5 and 50 millimetres.

The shredding process begins with the operator feeding the product into the shredding mouth, where the materials pass on to the rotary cutting system. After cutting, the material passes through a sieve that screens and calibrates the product, to produce the desired size. This sieve is fully interchangeable, so the machine owner can achieve their shredding volume by selecting the right one. Finally, a suction system completely evacuates the material from the cutting head area.

Cleaning of this shredding machine, and any later blade replacement for this shredding mill, are processes that can both be carried out quickly and easily, simply by opening the top cover of the machine. Rest assured, the machine complies fully with all relevant international safety standards.

There are both compact and high-capacity versions of this shredding mill machine available, with both single and double units manufactured by the supplier.

Options include:

bagging or sacking-off system, to handle shredded material
larger capacity drives, incorporated into the vacuum system, to feed a much larger storage capacity.
