Sewing & Batching
We have just installed a sewing and batching system, consisting of a linear sewing rail on the back of an A-Frame batching unit.
The sewing rail, in this case, is a single thread overlocker, to allow the joined fabrics to sit flat on the bulk roll. Ther options include double-thread overlockers and chain or sack stitch machines, on the same rail system. The aril can be set to auto-return if required.
By placing the sewing and batching machines next to each other, it allows the user to easily join the smaller rolls together prior to batching them together.
This allows the client to create a very large roll of fabric from lots of smaller ones, prior to coating or bonding the bulk roll.
